Hackensack University Medical Center is currently involved in the development of a new hospital bed tower project situated within the campus. This endeavor encompasses approximately 475,000 sq. ft. of space and is set to feature a ground-level lobby, a visitor center, and public connections, along with 24 operating rooms, a Central Sterile Processing unit, 50 ICU Beds, 50 Universal Beds, and 100 Medical Surgical Beds. The new structure will be seamlessly integrated with the existing Patient Pavilion and Main Building.
A cleanroom upgrade project focuses on improving cleanliness and operational efficiency through enhancements in gowning, air shower systems, power and gas delivery, and equipment relocation in a 4,000 sq. ft. space.
