This new Center for Engineering and Computer Science for the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College expands the engineering and computer science programs, as well as houses the Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship and Electron Microscope Facility. The building has four levels of lab space, offices, conference and meeting space, and three levels of underground parking. Additionally, the building features a four-story central atrium with four large skylights and a coffered ceiling for ample natural light, high performance glazing and exterior wall components, and a mechanical penthouse with a Konvekta high performance energy recovery system.
A cleanroom upgrade project focuses on improving cleanliness and operational efficiency through enhancements in gowning, air shower systems, power and gas delivery, and equipment relocation in a 4,000 sq. ft. space.
